2001 saw the formation of the Krewe of K-Doe. For their Mardi Gras costumes on Fat Tuesday, these K-Doe loyalists dressed in tribute to their Emperor. They roamed the streets of the French Quarter and Faubourg Marigny on Fat Tuesday (Febrary 27, 2001) waving signs emblazoned with K-Doeisms and belting out the Emperor's hits.
